How can asthma control be affected by behaviour and psychology?

Hear from our leading panel of experts on September 29th, 10:30am CET | 4:30pm SGT

It is estimated that over 300m people suffer from asthma worldwide and in the last 15 years, global prevalence of the condition has increased by around 3.6%. ("The Global Asthma Report", Global Asthma Network, 2018)

Dear Bhinneka,

Asthma is a chronic, incurable condition that can affect both children and adults. Personalised treatment plans and proactive asthma management are key factors in gaining control of the condition. But several barriers—including biological, behavioural and environmental factors—limit the demand for and supply of treatment and make adherence to that treatment a challenge.

In a post-covid world, the need for integrated, holistic patient care is more crucial than ever in ensuring a better quality of life.
