Join policymakers, law-enforcement officials and illicit-trade experts in the Philippines this May

Dear Bhinneka

We're delighted to invite you to our forthcoming event "Global Anti-Illicit Trade Summit, South-East Asia".  Supported by JTI, this free-to-attend event will take place in-person on May 18th in Manila, Philippines.

Illicit trade robs countries and industries of critical revenue and threatens the region's economic, social and environmental development, but the issue remains a low priority on the international—and regional—political agenda. Join us for this event as we examine how illicit trade can be combated in South-East Asia.

Key questions we'll address include:

  • How can collaborative systems be forged to counteract any potentially adverse effects of greater integration between markets?
  • What are the priorities of the new Philippine government in tackling illicit trade? What does this mean for the region?
  • Where are the greatest opportunities for collaboration between private and public stakeholders?
  • What are some of the notable recent lessons learnt, especially from the covid-19 pandemic, and how can these be applied to policies, regulations and stakeholder strategies?
Apply to attend and join us for this timely event on May 18th.

Visit the website here for the full agenda.

Kind regards

Economist Impact
