Carl Icahn told CNBC on Tuesday there could be a recession "or worse" in America ahead. The founder and chairman of Icahn Enterprises said surging inflation is a major threat to the economy, while the Russia-Ukraine war only added more uncertainty to his outlook.
Even with the Federal Reserve raising interest rates in an attempt to battle inflation, Icahn believes there is going to be a "rough landing."
