America shows more signs of strong economic growth: US economy grows 4.2% in 2Q, durable goods soar

The U.S. economy grew 4.2 percent in the second quarter, the fastest pace since the third quarter of 2014. Orders for factory goods jumped 4.5 percent last month, the most in six months, largely due to a demand for aircraft.
