REUTERS/Ammar Awad Palestinians returned to the scarred streets of Jenin after Israel ended an unusually intense 48-hour raid, some of them preparing heroes' funerals for the dead while others set about repairing the 75-year-old refugee camp. Twelve Palestinians, at least five of them fighters, and one Israeli soldier were killed. Russia and Ukraine accused each other of plotting to stage an attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station, long the subject of mutual recriminations and suspicions. Russian troops seized the station, Europe's largest nuclear facility with six reactors, in the days following its invasion of Ukraine. US NEWS Republicans in the battleground states of Michigan and Arizona are paying a high price for their support of former President Trump and his unsubstantiated claims that the election was stolen from him. On today's Reuters World News podcast, Tim Reid explains how they bleed donors and cash over those claims. A federal judge restricted some agencies and officials of the Biden administration from communicating with social media companies to moderate their content, according to a court filing. The injunction came in response to a lawsuit brought by Republican attorneys general in Louisiana and Missouri. It sent investigators to the offices of HYBE, SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment, Yonhap reported.
