But it's just as important to notice green flags if you're deciding whether you and a potential partner should get more serious. "A relationship or dating green flag is an indicator that the relationship is worth continuing to explore," says Jessica Small, a marriage counselor and therapist at Growing Self Counseling & Coaching in Denver. Here are four relationship green flags, according to Small: - Clear and consistent communication, where they do what they say they will do.
- Appropriate sharing, or an openness that builds trust without oversharing.
- Shared values and interests, or commonalities that aren't surface level.
- Respect for boundaries, showing that your comfort is a priority.

If you have any food allergies, you probably already know it. They are typically easy to detect because your body usually reacts immediately. That reaction can be so severe that it requires medical attention, says Gill Hart, a biochemist and scientific director at YorkTest. On the flip side, food sensitivities, also known as food intolerances, "are very different [and] take longer to generate," Hart says. "So you can eat something maybe on a Saturday, and it might not be until Tuesday that you even get a reaction." One way to tell the difference between the two is what symptoms you're experiencing.
