[Free webinar] Explore best practices for tackling the plastic pollution crisis

[February 6th 2023] Join Schroders, Circulate Captial and Minderoo Foundation as they set out the steps needed to tackle the plastic pollution crisis.

Plastic pollution is a design, production, consumption and disposal challenge

Dear Bhinneka,

Factors like unsustainable consumption patterns, inefficient waste management systems and a lack of coordination between different sectors contribute to the plastic pollution.  Do we have to rely on packaging and recycling or policy and regulation will also play a major role to drive the necessary transformation?

This February 6th at 2:30 pm SGT, Economist Impact's webinar—Tackling the plastic pollution crisis—will convene senior representatives from business, government and civil societies for a macro level analysis and case studies to achieve a sustainable strategy towards the plastic pollution crisis.

Questions addressed by a panel of sustainability experts will include:

  • What role do packaging and recycling play in reducing pollution?
  • How do producers facilitate the shift to more responsible use of plastics?
  • What factors influence investment decisions in this area?
  • How will policy and regulation help drive the necessary transformation?

We look forward to seeing you this February, Bhinneka
