It's Handled:
Or, will be handled? This is what Trump tweeted today about the situation in North Korea, and the testing yesterday of another missile. This morning the President spoke by phone with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and last night he talked to South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Trump told reporters yesterday that "it is a situation that we will handle." Raise your hand if this makes you a tad nervous.

The Story of a Suicidal Pizza Man Caught Up in an FBI Sting:
Make some time for this Lisa Rose feature on a young man from Michigan and a twisted story of ISIS, jihad and undercover law enforcement.

Real Estate Report:
Sometimes when I drive around Washington, I wonder who lives in all the fancy houses -- especially the ones near the embassies. Maybe that's why I was so into this Washington Post feature about a Russian tycoon who has been living, sporadically, in one of DC's biggest and most expensive mansions, next door to Kellyanne Conway and across the street from Vernon Jordan -- who, at the end of the piece, says he doesn't know who the owner is, but he's fine with the place because "they do a good job with the trees and the shrubbery." #thistown

Models Falling:
Always worth a click. I'm sorry.
Dress Like the First Daughter:
Ivanka Trump continued her India visit in another patterned dress, this time a regal blue look by designer Tory Burch. (Ironically, Burch was a huge Hillary Clinton supporter, hosting fundraisers for her during the campaign and even designing a t-shirt for Clinton's merchandise store.) Ivanka's $3,498 Burch gown can be found here

While you were home celebrating Drinksgiving with your high school friends on Thanksgiving eve, the speaker of the House was in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, (population 3,109) at the Ole Red restaurant with owner (and People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2017) Blake Shelton. They both wore camo, but were still visible. Gwen Stefani was also there.

Jay-Z on the Good Thing About Trump Being President:
The rapper sat for an interview with New York Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet. He said:

"The great thing about Donald Trump being president is now we're forced to have the dialogue. Now we're having the conversation on the large scale; he's provided the platform for us to have the conversation."

Jay-Z was also asked if making more money had made him "a little more conservative" or changed his politics.

"No. No, because I believe in people. I want what's best for people. I love people. You know, so I don't have that sort of thing, like, I want to vote Republican just to save more money. That's not the endgame. It's not about who got more money and who got more houses. Yes, you know, you've earned it, buy what you want. You know? But don't forget what's important. Without people, being rich would be very boring."

The interview will appear in T, with original art by Chantal Joffe and Henry Taylor, who did the cover and spoke about making it here.
